Becky + Eric, Winter Wedding

The one thing you can expect with this Tennessee weather is that there really is no predicting it— you can only rely on a forecast so much! And the day of Eric and Becky’s wedding was no exception. Storms blew through that morning, giving way to a steady rain that lasted past noon. Then we had a little break in the rain for an hour or two, and just as we were getting comfortable, the strong winds came back and brought a cold chill to the air and more raindrops.

But we could not have been working with a better bride and groom for this crazy weather day! Through all the uncertainty and changing of plans, Becky and Eric had smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts. They met each little setback with cheerfulness and didn’t let anything put a damper on this special day. I’m sure there is a metaphor in there for marriage and love and such, and it is one that would describe these two and their relationship well. I have a feeling no matter what this crazy, unpredictable life throws at them, at the end of the day they will be walking hand-in-hand and happy to be by each others’ sides.

Becky and Eric, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your sweet, sweet day! It was such a joy working with you all! May you have many beautiful, sunny days ahead of you.

The Sanner Family

Bless this momma’s heart, we tried to get this session done for about a year, and between weather and changing schedules, we had to reschedule a few times. We finally got it done though, and I was so happy they didn’t give up on me. :) It was a little chilly the morning we did the pictures, so I worked quickly to get the kiddos back inside in the warm heat, but they did great and gave us some big smiles! Such a sweet little crew, and definitely worth all the scheduling (and rescheduling!)

The Moore Family

This family came to see me for the first time last year, and it was such a joy getting to know them a bit at their session! Their smiles came easy and they were just the sweetest. It was a bit cool and windy, but they stuck with me and we got what we needed quickly so they could go get warm and cozy again. :) We never know what to expect weather-wise that time of year, but as long as we have some sunshine, we can make it work!
