Jace, Senior Class of 2020

I photographed Jace’s sister a few years ago for her senior pictures, and was so excited to work with this family again for Jace’s own senior session! Though he preferred to keep things more simple with just one location and one outfit, we got plenty of options for his momma to choose from. :) We actually planned to do this session earlier this Spring, but when I went into labor 2.5 weeks earlier than expected, we had to reschedule. Then we were delayed again when Covid-19 hit, but this family was so understanding and patient with me, and we finally got this session in last month. I’m so grateful for clients like these who are the definition of kindness, especially with things that are out of my control! You all are the best. <3

Congratulations on your graduation, Jace!

Ashley + Holly, Engagement Session

Though the world looks a bit different now than it did just a short while ago when these two got engaged, one thing has stayed the same— Ashley and Holly are as in love now as they were in October when she said yes to his proposal. :) And what a proposal it was! Ashley planned a beautiful afternoon hot air balloon ride to set the scene for asking the big question, though as it turns out, it’s not all that simple to take a trip into the air like that. The weather and the winds have to be just right, but Ashley was patient and persistent, and after a few attempts, they were finally able to go on this special outing. Of course, Holly said yes, and I have a feeling they were on top of the world in more ways than one that day!
This couple is so fun and sweet, and we can’t wait to be a part of their wedding day this weekend!

Congratulations you two! <3

Emma, Senior Class of 2020

We had a beautiful day for Emma’s senior session last Fall! Though the sky threatened rain and it got a bit windy towards the end of the photoshoot, we were able to get all the photos in without a hitch. :) For her session, we went to a few locations Emma and her mom had picked out that were close to their house, and I loved their choices! From the vintage home and old wooden barn, to the gravel road with trees on each side covered with golden leaves, we had plenty to work with. When you put such a lovely young lady into the mix with a beautiful day and great locations, I don’t think you can go wrong!

Congratulations on your graduation, Emma! Thank you for choosing me to be your senior photographer!
