Stephanie + Chris, Wedding

Stephanie and Chris had a lovely, intimate wedding in a little town called Huntingdon, in Tennessee. Their kids were on either side as they said I Do inside the gazebo, and their little audience of just their closest family clapped and cheered when they sealed their vows with a kiss.  I have a thing for small weddings, as we kept ours as small as possible (and even had thoughts of eloping!), so this whole morning made my heart happy. :) We spent the rest of my time with them taking pictures of their family, now one, and I snuck in a few extras of just the happy couple.

Congratulations Stephanie & Chris! It was wonderful working with you all!

Mallory + Austin, Wedding

It is said it takes a village to raise a child, and the same can be said about putting together a wedding. At Mallory and Austin's wedding , it was evident that they have a close group surrounding them who love them, adore their sweet daughter, and who wanted to make their wedding day as wonderful as possible. From precious grandparents to best childhood friends, their "village" looked after Emma Kate when the bride and groom were needed elsewhere, fetched bouquets and bustled the dress, and clapped and cheered when Mallory and Austin were pronounced husband and wife. A lot can be said about this sweet couple and their love for each other, but I'm sure they would agree their wedding day was made that much more special by those who were by their sides.

Mallory and Austin, thanks so much for choosing us to photograph your sweet, sweet day! We loved being a part of it!

Karly + Dalton, Wedding

Dalton put a bit of extra planning into his proposal to Karly. They had been dating for four or five years, and had known each other since middle school, so he knew when the time was just right to pop the question. After all, Karly was more than just his girlfriend-- she was his best friend. He waited  until Christmastime, and they went to Memphis to see Zoo Lights. Thousands of Christmas lights surrounded them, creating a beautiful glow, when he asked Karly to spend the rest of her life with him as his wife.  And of course, she said yes. :)
On their wedding day, it was Dalton's turn to be a little surprised. Karly walked out onto the grass for their first look, and tapped him on the shoulder. When Dalton turned around to see his bride for the first time in her wedding dress, his reaction was just the sweetest. He kept telling Karly how beautiful she was, how much he loved her dress, and then asked if they could just get married right then because he couldn't wait for her to be his wife! <3 There were no Christmas lights there, but her face was glowing just the same.
Congratulations Karly and Dalton! We hope you love your sneak peek.
