Amanda + Kendrick, Wedding

Amanda and Kendrick's wedding took place on a HOT day last July, but it was beautiful! Their love for each other, their kids, and their family was evident. I think my favorite part of the day was the ceremony-- the officiant made everyone laugh and smile, while still reminding Kendrick and Amanda of their special roles as husband and wife. Thanks so much, you two, for letting us be a part of your day! And special thanks to Grace Barnhouse for assisting me and being my second shooter for this wedding.

Chelsea + Bryce, Wedding

This Thursday we are "throwing it back" to Chelsea and Bryce's wedding last Spring. :) We love this couple and their families, they were all so sweet and great to work with! We got to capture some great moments for them all. I loved it when Chelsea's dad showed up in his overalls before he got all dressed up, and we were able to get a picture of him and Chelsea. She said, "Oh, this is HIM!" Also, I can never get enough of First Looks between the bride and groom. Chelsea and Bryce chose to see each other before the ceremony, and the pictures of him seeing her in her dress for the first time are so precious. He seemed a bit nervous before he saw her, but once they were together he was able to relax a bit. And I think everyone had to laugh when, at the alter for the ceremony, he picked her up and set her down on the stage so she didn't have to walk up the stairs. :) There are so many other moments that we loved, but I'll just let the pictures do the rest of the talking!Thank you guys so much for letting us be a part of your day! It was beautiful!

Delaina + Caleb, Wedding

Sometimes blogging weddings months after they happen makes me really see how beautiful they are. :) Wedding days can be so hectic for us photographers, making sure we're getting all the shots we need to and staying on schedule, that we forget to just appreciate how lovely everything is. Looking back at Delaina and Caleb's wedding from last Summer, all I can see are those blue skies, pretty pink flowers, and so many happy faces. It's making me even more excited about this coming wedding season! Thanks so much to Delaina and Caleb for letting us photograph your stunning wedding. Also, thanks to Grace Barnhouse and my handsome husband Jimmy for being wonderful assistants and second shooters that day.
