Blake, Senior Class of 2019

I actually photographed Blake and her sister about five years ago (or was it longer?) and it was a joy to see her again for her senior portraits! She is such a lovely person, inside and out, and has such a sweet personality. When we did this session, she still wasn’t quite sure what she wanted to do after she graduates, but I have a feeling whatever it is, she will go very far!

We started off taking pictures around Downtown Martin, and then went to the tennis courts for a few pictures there. This was my first session to incorporate tennis, and I loved it! So much fun to do something new, and it is always special to incorporate something my seniors are passionate about into their sessions.

Lydia, Senior Class of 2019

This sweet senior wanted to incorporate one of her passions, the theatre, into her session, so we started at the Capitol Theatre where Lydia has been a part of several productions. She seemed right at home on that stage! :) From there we walked around downtown Union City for some urban scenery, before heading to the county fair. After meeting Lydia, it just seemed fitting that she would want pictures taken at such a fun, colorful place, because those would be some words you could use to describe her, too!

Karoline, Senior Class of 2019

I photographed Karoline’s two older sisters’ senior sessions, but this year it is her turn to be the graduate! Our challenge was trying to make sure each session felt unique, so for Karoline’s session we started at her home (pictures with her dog Piper were a must, which of course was fine with me!) and then we went to Hickman, KY, for the rest of her pictures. Hickman has some really beautiful sights and unique architecture around their downtown area, and it gave us some background options we didn’t have for her sisters’ sessions. :) I had such a fun time exploring the area with Karoline and her mom, and I think we achieved our goal of creating some unique images for this third senior session!
