Seniors

Sarah, Senior Session

Sarah was just the sweetest to work with, and she had me at, "I'm picky about my coffee, too". ;) It's always nice to be able to talk about espresso, macchiatos, and lattes with a fellow coffee lover! She was still a bit torn between two colleges last we talked, but I'm sure she will be scoping out a good coffee shop wherever she decides to go. Sarah also loves to travel, so while we were walking around downtown Martin, she told me about her recent trip to Europe, and even wore some lovely heels she bought in Paris. I love that we were able to incorporate something sentimental from her senior trip into her senior pictures!

Thanks for letting me take your senior pictures for you Sarah! I hope you love them!

Sarah's hair and makeup were done by Stephani Quinn at Salon Utopia.

Caroline, Senior Session

It's not every day I get to work with a dancer/ballerina! :) Caroline was as much a part of the creative process with these pictures as I was. She came up with poses and such that were natural for the type of dancing that she does, and held poses like a pro while I tried photographing from different angles and changed up the lighting. (With the help of Tara! If I ever need an assistant I'm calling you again!) I mostly shoot with natural light so the dancing photos are not my typical style, but I had so much fun doing something different and I think they turned out beautifully!

Caroline isn't just a talented dancer, she is also very kind and has a compassionate heart. She wants to work in children's ministry and will be attending college several hours away to learn more about working in that field. I'm so excited for her and I know she will be reaching so many people in her future!
Best of wishes to you Caroline, as you enter this next chapter! Thank you for letting me be your senior photographer!

Grant, Senior Session

Grant was so great to work with! We got lots of exercise as we walked around downtown for his senior session, talking about batman and comic books because apparently he is a fan and a collector. He even wore some batman cufflinks to go with his suit! :) Towards the end of his session we drove to another location for a few rustic pictures as the rain clouds rolled in. We barely beat the rain before we called it quits, but it gave us just enough time for some great pictures, and for that I was grateful!

Thanks so much for letting me take your senior pictures Grant! And thanks to his mom, Laura, for holding a reflector for me and being a great assistant! :)
