Families & Little Ones

Little Ella and Family

Little Ella turned five last year so it was time for another session! This one was extra special because it was the last family session where she was the only child. Her baby brother has joined the world since then so she will have to share a little more of the spotlight at the next session we do. :)

We did this session in Ella’s backyard, so after we got the “normal” photos out of the way, she got to put on her princess dress and take some magical photos in that as well! I love seeing her little imagination in those pictures. Such a fun age!

The Quinn Family

I’m a little extra attached to these folks, as this is my sister and her precious family. :) Aren’t they just the cutest?! We had been trying to get this session in for a few months and were finally able to get it done early last Fall, but definitely did not expect the temperatures to still be in the 90’s at that point! I’m thankful they stuck with me even though we were all a bit uncomfortable in the crazy TN heat and humidity. 😅 Next time maybe we’ll get lucky with a much more pleasant day for pictures! At least we got some sweet little smiles to make our efforts worth it. I just love these people!

Little Evy & Big Brother Esau

Our little niece Evy turned a year old last June, but we weren’t quite able to get our schedules to align for her one year session until a few months later, so it’s somewhere between a one year session and an 18 month session. :) This girl brings so much joy to our lives, from her sweet mischievous smiles to her spunky little attitude. It has been such fun watching her grow from that tiny newborn to this adorable toddler!

We kept this session simple and took these pictures in their own backyard one sunny morning. Evy gave us some sweet smiles and showed off those walking skills, exploring her little world and keeping me on my toes trying to keep up with her! For the last part of her session we got out the little tin “bathtub” that her big brother had pictures in a few years ago, and she had a grand time splashing away. Esau decided to join in the session when he saw how much fun his little sister was having, and even their fur-sibling Misty came over, though she just wanted to drink the bath water. 😅 Evy took notes and soon all she wanted to do was lap the water up just like Misty, so we decided that way a good time to end picture day, ha! But not before a few photos of that, too. ;)
