Families & Little Ones

Kelly Family

I’ve worked with this family for several years now, starting with their son Jackson’s senior portraits and eventually photographing both of his sister’s senior sessions as well. It has been such a joy working with them all and catching up with them every few years! They are such a sweet, sweet family.
Last summer Tina asked if they could possibly get in for some family pictures, and gave me a few dates where everyone would be home. As kids grow up and move out, it gets harder to coordinate schedules, but we thankfully were able to make it work! It was a hotttttt day when we got together for the session, so we planned for early evening and made it as short and sweet as possible. :) I’m so glad they stuck with me through the heat and that we were able to get this last family session in before their schedules get even crazier, with three kids out of high school and moving on to their next seasons in life.

Thank you, Kelly family, for entrusting me to capture your sweet memories over the past several years!

Campbell and Family, Two Year Session

Little Campbell turned the big TWO last summer! This sweet brown-eyed girl did such a good job at her session. She gave us lots of precious smiles and showed off those adorable dimples. I’m not sure how she isn’t spoiled rotten, because with a face that cute I don’t know how she doesn’t always get her way! :) Campbell loved cuddling with her mom and dad but did great for the pictures on her own as well. Especially when she was finally able to play with those birthday balloons she had her eye on the whole car ride there! Such a sweet girl and a precious little family.

Baby Parker & Family, Three Month Session

I loved seeing this sweet family again for Parker’s three month session! We had a hot but beautiful day, which doesn’t sound too bad right now while it is cold and rainy. (Though I’m sure if we had landed somewhere in between the high temps then and the cool ones today, we would have been a tad more comfortable!)
Parker loved being held and cuddled, and was mesmerized by all the colors and movement in the trees and such around him during the family pictures. We did a few photos of him in the little basket with his dad’s duck hunting props and his eyes started getting really heavy. :) After he had a quick snack he went right to sleep, as you can see in the last photo with him and big sister Olivia. Naps outside are the best, especially when it is warm and there is a soft breeze, so I can’t really blame him for deciding that was the perfect time to get caught up on some sweet dreams!
