Baby Evy Jaymes, 9 Month Session

Our sweet niece Evy Jaymes at nine months old! The weather just wasn’t cooperating for this session so we decided to take it inside so everyone could be nice and cozy. Baby Evy was sitting up like a pro and gave me some adorable baby smiles with those new bottom teeth making an appearance. Because she wasn’t walking just yet she still had those squishy baby thighs, so we decided to show those off before she walked them away. :) Big brother Esau joined her for a few pictures, but it being close to nap time for both of them by the end, they weren’t quite as excited about those haha. We got a few before the meltdowns happened, though! :)

Baby Aiden, Newborn Session

This sweet family welcomed another baby boy to their home this Spring! Baby Aiden was such a little sweetheart, and he did so well for his session. He slept so deeply that even when big brother got tickled and let out a giggle or two, Aiden wasn’t phased at all. :) I have a feeling he is a bit used to hearing those giggles around the house!
Though I photographed Emily and Brent’s wedding several years ago, I actually knew Emily years before that, back when we were in the same youth group at church together. It’s so fun to see her now as a wonderful wife and momma! It’s crazy to think of how much life has changed since our teen years. Who’d have thought that about ten years later I’d be photographing her sweet little family?

I’ve been working with this sweet family since Beth Ann and Logan’s engagement session several years ago, and it has been such a joy seeing their family grow from just the two of them, to welcoming little Olivia, and now to welcoming baby Parker. We thought we’d get one last session in before he made his appearance, to capture that cute baby bump and get a few more pictures of this family of three before they became a family of four! Olivia loved getting some extra cuddles with her mom and dad, and had fun smelling the flowers and exploring this new place. She had no idea how much her world was about to change, but (spoiler alert) she has become such a great big sister since baby Parker was born. She is so in love with him!
