Ragan Family, Fall 2018

It is always a joy to see this family and to take more pictures of their sweet kiddos! We just never know what we’re going to get from little ones this age, but they gave us some precious smiles and fun, mischievous expressions at this session. :) In between pictures they loved looking for fish and turtles in the pond, and skipping along the sidewalk- sometimes racing ahead and sometimes lagging behind to take in another little grasshopper or bird. If there is anything kids teach us, it is to be full of wonder and curiosity. And Charlie, Eden, and Reid are very good teachers.

Kissell Family Fall 2018

Oh my goodness, are these little Kissell boys not just the cutest?! They were so sweet and had such fun personalities! I had a great time working with this family, and even though it started unexpectedly sprinkling on us shortly after we started, we made it work in half the time of a typical session and were able to walk away with several precious images. I think if we had had more time, it would have just made it that much harder to pick out a favorite. :)

Baby Brooks, Newborn Session

We photographed Taylor and Chad’s wedding a few years ago, and I was so excited for them when Taylor told me they were expecting! Baby Brooks made his appearance last Fall, and was such a cute little guy. He was so focused for his age, and would look straight at the camera when he was awake. But he didn’t stay awake for long, and we got some super sweet sleepy images of him, too! We were wondering what color his hair was going to turn out to be, because we could definitely see some red in it in certain lighting, so I am excited to see him at their next milestone session and find out!
