Engagements

Eric + Becky, Engagement Session

For this session I traveled all the way to Paris… Tennessee! 🤪 This city holds a special place in the hearts of Eric and Becky, so it was only natural to do their engagement session there. We started off at the park with the little Eiffel Tower in the background, then headed to the downtown area to wrap up. It was so fun to get to know these two a bit as we walked around, talking about everything from football to careers to Nashville traffic. And of course, we talked about all things wedding, and I got to hear all about their plans for their big day. I can’t believe it is almost here! It has been such a joy working with these two up to this point, and I know it will be such a sweet, fun time working with them for their wedding day, too!

Congratulations, Eric and Becky!

Kinsey + Colby, Engagement

Kinsey was one of my senior clients a few years ago, and I am so excited to be photographing her wedding in less than a month! She seems to have found a great fiancé in Colby, and from the way they smile at each other it is obvious they are a happy couple. :)
Kinsey and Colby are renovating a home together, starting from the studs and working from the inside out to make it their own. We did the first half of their session around their property, which was lovely for the pictures, and then finished up at Colby’s family’s place. I love that we were able to incorporate locations that represent past memories and their future together. Such a beautiful metaphor for these two as they become husband and wife soon!

Congratulations you two! Can’t wait for the big day!

Addey + AJ, Engagement Session

I do sessions at my clients’ homes pretty regularly, but it’s not often they live right on the lake like Addey and AJ. We had a beautiful, hot day for their engagement session, and the blue skies reflecting on the water made it look extra inviting— I think we were all wishing we could jump in by the end, though it probably wouldn’t have cooled us off as much as we’d have liked! :) These two did great in spite of the southern summertime weather, and we got some sweet pictures for them as we walked around. Tomorrow they will say I Do in their lovely backyard, so they will get to make many more special memories here to start off their life together as husband and wife! I’m so excited to work with these two again, and I just know it will be a beautiful, beautiful day to be a part of.

Congratulations Addey & AJ! We’ll see you two tomorrow!
