Engagements

Jodie + Brandon, Engagement

Jodie and Brandon are getting married!
As much as I have loved working with this sweet couple and getting to know them, I have to say, their golden retriever Drake was my favorite part of this session! :) Yes, Jodie and Brandon are a lovely couple, and yes, we can't wait to photograph their wedding, but Drake may have just stolen the show when we took their engagement pictures. He was so well behaved and so lovable, and his little Tennessee Vols bow tie was the icing on the cake. He may not need to come to the wedding or I may just take a billion photos of just him! (Only exaggerating a little...)

Congratulations, you two!

Hailey + Alex, Family and Engagement Session

Hailey and Alex are engaged, and there is no one happier than their daughter, Lennon. :) We braved the cold the morning of their session, and made it extra quick so we all wouldn't be too frozen! Sweet Lennon did such a good job, giving us lots of smiles and even a few of her own poses (cue the hands on hips), in between jumping back in the car for some heat. I have a feeling their wedding this Spring will be a bit warmer, and we'll all be a little thankful for that! We are so excited to work with this sweet family again and can't wait to be there for their big day.

Congratulations on your engagement, Hailey & Alex! Thanks so much for braving the cold with me!

Christina + Travis, Engagement Session

I had such a great time getting to know Christina and Travis while taking their engagement pictures! From meeting their sweet little dogs, to hearing all about their tropical wedding plans, it was a fun morning. We were fortunate that it didn't rain on us, as the forecast was not promising, and that we were able to take some pictures in some lovely cotton fields (which are usually harvested by that time of year, but hadn't been yet because of the rain). Maybe we should have all played the lottery that day, too! :)
Congratulations on your engagement, Christina and Travis! I hope you have a wonderful wedding day!
