I was so excited when Chelsea told me they had selected us as their wedding & engagement photographers, because after meeting her and Daniel I just knew they would be wonderful to work with! These two could not be sweeter if they tried, and though I have only known them a few months, it is clear to me that they make a perfect pair. Their wedding is finally here (Saturday!) and I know it is going to be a special day!
Chelsea asked if after we took their engagement pictures at the location we had discussed, we could go downtown Martin to take some with the Christmas lights. I thought that was a great idea! We planned the session so that once we got Downtown the sun would be setting, and the lights would give off a beautiful glow. Our timing was perfect, and even though our teeth were chattering in the cold winter breeze, the sparkling lights made it a lovely ending to their engagement session.
Congratulations you two! See you soon! :)
Cierra + Gavin, Engagement
I was so honored to be asked to take Cierra & Gavin's engagement and wedding photos, as this girl is pretty special to me. :) We became good friends when I moved home after college, and she was even a bridesmaid in my own wedding! I'm so excited to be a part of her special day this summer. It seems she has found a good guy in Gavin, and although I met him for the first time when we did this session, it is easy to tell he makes her happy. These two seem like they were made for each other, and I wish them all the happiness and joy in the world! <3
Stacey + Carl, Engagement
Stacey and Carl were such a joy to work with for their engagement session! Though it was a hot afternoon, they stuck with me and were so much fun. The laughs in their pictures are 100% for real. :)
I loved hearing about how these two met, how Carl proposed to Stacey (and how she didn't realize it was even happening for a minute there), and what their plans are for their wedding day. They are still working on that part, but they do know they want to make it about their relationship and commitment to one another, and not necessarily about a big event where it is easy to lose sight of what is most important. I think that they are headed in a lovely direction, and I hope I get to hear about their wedding someday, because I feel like it will be another good story!
Congratulations you two!
