Rebecca + Chris, Engagement

This couple was incredibly sweet and so fun to work with! We went to one of their friend's backyard in Union City for the first half of the session, and then strolled around downtown for a few more pictures. I'm glad we were able to start early that morning because it was a pretty hot August day! 
Rebecca told me all about how Chris proposed (apparently the video of the proposal went viral!) and about their wedding plans in between pictures, and I'm so excited for their wedding next year. I think it is going to be a wonderful day! :) 

Shanna + Zach Engagement

This couple is just the sweetest! I knew Shanna when I was in high school, we went to the same church and were involved in the youth group there. She was always so kind, and I don't know anyone who didn't love being around her! When she asked us to photograph her wedding and engagement photos I couldn't have been more flattered or excited. I knew she and Zach would be wonderful to work with! 
Shanna and Zach wanted to use their reception location for their engagement photos as well, so we took a few pictures downtown Martin and then headed to Dresden for the Moran house. It is such a pretty home, the couple who owns it has taken such good care of it and restored it beautifully. They now host weddings and events, and graciously let us take pictures there for this session. :) 

Tiffany + Drew, Engagement

This sweet couple is getting married in December, so the scenery will change a bit by the time we take pictures of them next! :) The date of their engagement session was the perfect June day, the high was in the 80's and the sun was shining beautifully. Hopefully the weather for their wedding, though I imagine it will be quite a bit cooler, will be just as gorgeous. 
Tiffany and Drew were wonderful to work with, and I was so happy to meet their dog Maya who jumped in for a few pictures. :) Isn't she precious?! Dogs that are this cute and well-behaved are always welcome at our sessions!
