Couples

Jacob + Brianna, Engagement Session

These two are getting married this Summer, and we are so excited to be a part of their wedding! I'm going to bet we will be wishing for the cool weather we had at their engagement session when August rolls around, though. ;) We spoke through chattering teeth as we took pictures that December afternoon, talking about their upcoming graduations from college, and plans after they graduate. They retold the story of how Jacob proposed to Brianna last year at a lovely natural park in East Tennessee, and how they kept looking for this rock formation that was a highlight of the park, and were starting to get frustrated... until they realized they were standing right there with it. Turns out, it is a bigger formation than they had expected! :) Jacob surprised Brianna by proposing there, even catching the whole thing on video himself. Such a sweet, fun engagement story!
Congratulations on your engagement, you two!

Callie + Ty, Engagement Session

Callie and Ty's wedding is coming up this Fall, and I just know it is going to be beautiful!
We took these engagement pictures back in November, when we still had some pretty leaves on the trees and the sunshine kept us from getting too cold. The first half of their session was spent walking around Downtown Martin, taking pictures on sidewalks and in alleyways, and for the second half we went to Callie's uncle's farm where we dodged chickens and... other things you find on the ground in a cow pasture. ;) I think our shoes were okay in the end though!
I had a great time working with Callie and Ty for this session, and it just makes me that much more excited for their November wedding! Congratulations, you two!

Jodie + Brandon, Engagement

Jodie and Brandon are getting married!
As much as I have loved working with this sweet couple and getting to know them, I have to say, their golden retriever Drake was my favorite part of this session! :) Yes, Jodie and Brandon are a lovely couple, and yes, we can't wait to photograph their wedding, but Drake may have just stolen the show when we took their engagement pictures. He was so well behaved and so lovable, and his little Tennessee Vols bow tie was the icing on the cake. He may not need to come to the wedding or I may just take a billion photos of just him! (Only exaggerating a little...)

Congratulations, you two!
