Couples

Stacey + Carl, Engagement

Stacey and Carl were such a joy to work with for their engagement session! Though it was a hot afternoon, they stuck with me and were so much fun. The laughs in their pictures are 100% for real. :)
I loved hearing about how these two met, how Carl proposed to Stacey (and how she didn't realize it was even happening for a minute there), and what their plans are for their wedding day. They are still working on that part, but they do know they want to make it about their relationship and commitment to one another, and not necessarily about a big event where it is easy to lose sight of what is most important. I think that they are headed in a lovely direction, and I hope I get to hear about their wedding someday, because I feel like it will be another good story!

Congratulations you two!

Lauren + Austin, Engagement

We had the perfect morning for Lauren & Austin's engagement session-- the sun was out, and the morning fog was just lifting so we got a beautiful haze in some of their photos. We talked about wedding plans and such as we walked around, and it got me that much more excited to photograph their wedding next year! Not only will it be a beautiful wedding, but I know it will be such a special day as these two say I Do. They have been together for over six years now, so their relationship has already stood the test of time, and I have a feeling it will continue to do so. <3

Congratulations you two!

Alex + Matthew, Engagement

Alex and Matthew are one of our couples getting married in 2018, and after their engagement session I am even more excited to photograph their wedding. They were so sweet and full of happiness, their smiles genuine and natural. We took a few pictures downtown Martin, and then we headed to Alex's family's home. Not only is it lovely there, but the dock overlooking the pond is where Matthew proposed to Alex on a cold, rainy evening. We got a few pictures there, of course, and elsewhere around their yard-- even in the pasture where a few cows gave us a little snort and curious stare. :) We ended the session with pictures under the beautiful, red and orange sunset, the best possible way to end a session in my opinion. I hope we are equally blessed with that weather come next March!

Congratulations you two!
