I am happily married to Jimmy, a “numbers guy”, an amazing cook, and my fellow coffee enthusiast. We have a son named James, who is our little joy. He is a big 5 year old now so we are still knee-deep in the dinosaur stage but he’s not quite into Barney anymore. :) I love being his momma!
I have worked in this industry full time for over ten years now, and have photographed a little bit of everything— weddings, high school seniors, commercial projects for local businesses and nationwide magazines, and families big and small. And I have to tell you, as much as I love taking pictures of pretty much anything, my heart is really with families. Maybe because I have my own now, I see how beautiful the everyday moments are, and how quickly seasons change and children grow.
A little bit of my history— I grew up in Troy, Tennessee, and went to college in Nashville for a few years to study photography. After graduating, I moved back home in 2011 and started my photography business in Obion County. That’s where most of our family lives, and where I met my husband and where we had our son. In 2022, we moved to the Troutman, North Carolina area (a little outside of Charlotte) and are beginning to put down some roots here! We’ve made some amazing friends and love having such a beautiful place to call home.
TROUTMAN, North Carolina and Beyond.
We moved from Tennessee (Union City, to be exact) a few years ago and I’m excited to now be serving our new community in Troutman, North Carolina (about 40 minutes outside of Charlotte). This area around Lake Norman is absolutely beautiful!
I have also worked with photography clients in Illinois, Kentucky, Arkansas, Florida, East Tennessee, Memphis and Nashville. I am happy to travel when able!
