Lauren was such a joy to work with for her senior portraits! She is so sweet and laid back, and a natural in front of the camera. I’ve taken senior pictures for both her older brother and older sister, and since Lauren is the baby of the family (like me!) this session was the final senior portrait session for this sweet family. I have to admit, it makes me a little sad! You kids need to start getting married now. ;)
Lauren’s only requests for her session were to take a few pictures at the tennis courts, and then if possible, include some sunflowers as well. I asked around to find a sunflower patch, and it turns out there would be some blooming at the same location we did her older brother’s senior pictures several years ago. :) It’s always fun when things come full circle like that! We were able to time the session just right to capture the sunflowers at their peak before they were gone, and I think their cheerful presence went perfectly with Lauren’s sweet, sunny personality.
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation, Lauren!
Martha, Senior Class of 2020
It’s not uncommon for sessions to get rained out every now and then, as Mother Nature just does her own thing regardless of what we have planned. But poor Martha— we had to reschedule her senior session like five times before we were finally able to catch a pretty day! We started joking that if there happened to be a drought we’d just schedule pictures with her, because the forecast could look promising and then we’d have rain clouds show up anyways the day of her photo shoot. Martha was so patient and gracious though, and eventually we did have a gorgeous afternoon and were able to finally finish her session. I’m grateful she stuck with me through it all! :)
Thanks so much to Martin’s Coffee & Bakery for letting us take some pictures inside your coffeehouse!
And thank you, again, Martha for being so sweet and understanding through all the crazy scheduling and rescheduling! Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!
Audrey, Senior Class of 2020
Audrey kicked off our senior season for the class of 2020 with such a great session! I can always tell when I’ve been photographing a lot of little kids, because my next senior session lasts a bit longer than usual— after having to be quick and stealthy to get a lot of great photos before the babies and toddlers are just over it, I can take my time with posing and getting the light just right for my senior clients. So we were a bit over my typical timeframe with Audrey’s session, but we got so many beautiful photos and spent a lot of time trying different poses and such. It was a fun afternoon and I’m glad she stuck with me all the way through sunset! 😅 Also, this girl could be a model. Isn’t she lovely? <3
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation, Audrey!
